Welcome to Expounder, a software mashup to create a family of websites, written by John Bray to explore how Wikidata, Wikipedia, and Wikimedia could be used to enhance some of his hobbies, including fortifications, ships, lighthouses, bunkers, mines, caves and science fiction.
The software and websites are made available under the CC BY-NC-SA licence which lets others remix, adapt, and build upon the work work non-commercially, as long as they credit Expounder and license their new creations under the identical terms. See copyrights.
Use is made of Mediawiki and its extensions, pywikibot, exiftool, and the map icons from Nicolas Mollet.
